Material from a hopper or upstream feeder free-falls through the Ø50 mm detection channel. Three equally-spaced coils surround the channel: the central coil generates a high-frequency magnetic field; the two outer receiving coils are wound to cancel each other so the net signal is zero. When metal enters the field, it disrupts the balance and the net signal deviates from zero. A DSP calculates the disturbance, performs product/phase/residual compensation, and outputs an alarm plus a pulse signal to the rejection-flap solenoid valve and cylinder. The cylinder triggers a flap that diverts the metal-containing slug out a side outlet, then quickly returns to normal position so good material continues through the bottom outlet. Discharge speed(0.3–5 s) is adjustable.

التنظيف والصيانة

Always unplug power before cleaning. Use soft plastic brushes or cloths and neutral detergent only — never metal brushes, diluents, benzene, toluene or organic solvents(alcohol/gasoline/acetone may be used to remove fingerprints). Clean both sides of the conveyor belt after each shift. Weekly: remove the conveyor belt, check for end-face cracks and listen for unusual sound; clean the detection-head opening and conveyor-belt connection points. For 316 stainless steel, wipe iron-powder/salt rust with sponge dipped in neutral detergent or soapy water then rinse thoroughly. To detach the conveyor: loosen four outer latches, raise belt conveyor from the drive-shaft side to slack the synchronous belt, disconnect the synchronous belt, lift conveyor off the frame and slide off the detection-head side without damaging the resin layer in the detection hole.
