SED-50QLF-B — SED-50QLF-B Jet Mill

Filtered, dry, oil-free compressed air at 1.0 MPa is delivered through nozzles arranged tangentially around a horizontal grinding chamber (pancake/disc form, ID 200 mm, ceramic-lined). The high-velocity jets create a swirling, fluidized particle bed in which particles collide with one another and the chamber wall at supersonic relative velocity, fracturing them. Centrifugal classification inside the same chamber holds coarse particles in the grinding zone while fines exit through the central outlet to a Φ400 cyclone, then a 13.5 m2 pulse-jet bag filter for final collection (0.5 um). A 0.75 kW Ex rotary valve discharges product; a 7.5 kW Ex IDF maintains slight negative pressure throughout the train. Pneumatic vibrators on the cyclone and bag filter prevent build-up; an explosion vent on the bag filter protects the system from dust deflagration.
