SED-25FDG-Z — Freeze Dryer

Vials filled with product are loaded on the shelves. The shelves are cooled by the BITZER refrigeration circuit to freeze the product. The chamber is then evacuated to ≤5 Pa by the BAOSI twin-rotor pump backed by the BSC screw pump. Heat is applied through the shelves(shelf temperature up to +80 °C) under PLC-controlled ramping, causing sublimation of the ice. Water vapour condenses on the cold trap, which is also cooled by the BITZER circuit. DANFOSS energy-regulation devices optimise compressor efficiency throughout the cycle. After primary and secondary drying, the chamber is backfilled and vials are unloaded. The cold trap is easy to defrost and clean. Operation can be controlled from multiple rooms with interlocked panels.
