Purified water feed(from upstream 2RO+EDI) enters Effect I where plant steam heats it above 100°C in a double-tube-sheet 316L evaporator, generating WFI-quality vapor. This secondary steam successively heats Effects II, III, and IV(single tube sheet) in a cascade heat-recovery chain, with each effect operating at progressively lower pressure. Condensate from all effects is collected as WFI distillate. Pre-heaters raise the feed temperature progressively before it enters Effect I to maximize energy recovery. Condensers condense residual vapor; the respirator with PTFE filter prevents non-sterile air from entering the condenser. Siemens PLC controls the entire sequence including steam modulation, level control, conductivity alarm, and CIP cycle.
