Empty 1 ml or 2 ml glass ampoules are loaded into the feeding hopper. A rotary disk separates them and a positioning tooth plate (with adjustable gauge E and rod F) presents two ampoules at a time to the indexing transport. Each cycle the pair is moved through six stations: (1) pre-fill nitrogen purge to displace oxygen, (2) liquid drug filling via two glass piston pumps with stop-on-no-bottle interlock, (3) post-fill nitrogen blanket, (4) neck preheating with LPG (or coal gas) + oxygen flame, (5) pull-flame sealing where a melted glass tip is drawn into a sealed point, then (6) discharge of sealed ampoules. The 0.37 kW main motor (1400 rpm, right-handed rotation viewed from the hopper side) drives the cam transmission.
