Fonctionnement

Empty capsules are loaded into the capsule hopper and fed into the magazine un-oriented. From the magazine, capsules enter the sorting block where they are oriented (smaller end down). Capsules are then separated by vacuum — the lower portion retained in the die holes, upper portion inspected. The 10-station rotary table carries the die holes through: (1) capsule orientation and placement, (2–3) vacuum separation, (4–6) 6-station powder tamping and filling (powder homogenizer patent ensures uniform distribution even with poor-flowing powder; dosing disk changeable for fill weight), (7) die-hole cleaning (air blast), (8) cap joining, (9) capsule locking (capsule locking pins with groove), (10) finished capsule ejection and collection. Defective or un-separated capsules are ejected by pins and removed by vacuum. Double-sided grooved inner cam (patent) ensures equal filling force. 85% of lost powder is recovered by the powder collector (patent) and recirculated. Filling structure can be raised easily (patent) for cleaning.

Nettoyage et entretien

Filling structure is designed to raise easily (Chinese patent) for cleaning. Totally enclosed frame prevents contamination. Standard cleaning: remove cap screws and platens from top of dosing mechanism; disassemble filling components; clean all product-contact parts (304 stainless steel) with 75% industrial alcohol. Die-hole air blast at station 7 cleans residual powder between capsules. Powder collector recovers 85% of lost powder for recirculation (no re-sterilization required).
