Fonctionnement

Material enters the cone from the upper inlet. The rotating spiral ribbon lifts material at the periphery; material drops along the central axis, generating axial-flow 3D circulation with shear and mixing. The cone jacket, cone head, spiral spindle and spiral ribbon are simultaneously heated (hot water, steam or thermal oil). Material is in full contact with all heated surfaces for efficient heat-transfer drying. Under high vacuum (-0.095 MPa) surface water/solvent reaches saturation and evaporates, and is continuously removed by the vacuum pump.
