SED-60GJZ-C — High-Pressure Homogenizer

Pre-mixed product is drawn from the feed hopper through the three-joint valve into the pump cylinder by a single reciprocating plunger that pressurizes it to 56-70 MPa. The high-pressure stream then forces through an adjustable two-stage homogenizing valve (high then low pressure). Across the valve, sudden pressure drop, expansion, explosion, shear and high-speed impact subdivide droplets and particles to 0.01-2 µm (avg 1 µm), creating a stable emulsion or dispersion (or rupturing cells for biotech use). Recommended low-stage = 20% of high-stage for best dispersion and longer wear-part life.
