SED-25FYY-F is a powder-forming hydraulic press that produces 8 balls (pellets) per stroke at 10-26 strokes per minute. Maximum compaction force is 250 kN with 150 kN ejection and 120 kN die-cavity support, upper punch s
Funcionamiento
Powder is gravity-fed from the hopper through the feed tube and feed shoe into the die cavity (lower punch fixed). The upper punch first enters the cavity at low force to pre-compact and expel air. The upper punch and die then move synchronously downward, compacting the powder so that initial density is higher at the bottom than at the top. A final top-compression stroke from the upper punch equalises density at the top. With pellet formed, the die continues downward to eject the pellet while the upper punch maintains an adjustable holding force on the pellet to prevent crack-causing expansion (protective ejection). The pellet is then pushed off the die and a new charge is automatically dispensed. Mechanical-cam drive (with VFD-tuned speed) plus an air clutch start/stop the cycle; a pneumatic core rod is available for shouldered parts; PLC + encoder + HMI control all motion; an elastomer transducer reports peak compaction force with alarms.
