SED-5GZ-D — Laboratory/Pilot Dry Granulator SED-5GZ-D

Dry granulation by roller compaction: powder is auger-fed by a vertical screw feeder into the nip between two vertically-arranged compaction rollers(40 mm diameter × 50 mm wide) at up to 15 kN/cm pressure, forming a ribbon 0.5–2.5 mm thick. The ribbon passes through a two-stage diagonal milling system — pre-mill stage followed by final-mill stage, each controlled independently by the PLC — to produce granules with a stable, controllable particle-size distribution. Sample ports between the rollers and between mill stages allow frequent process-parameter sampling typical of R&D and pilot work. The modular design fully separates the screw feeder from the compaction unit, so feed dynamics do not affect the roller compaction process.
