Industrial saturated steam(or 120 kW electric steam generator) heats the I-effect falling-film evaporator. The vapor-water mixture passes a three-stage external-helical separator. Each subsequent effect(II-V) operates at lower pressure/temperature, cascading thermal energy. Pre-heaters use condensate/inter-effect waste heat to preheat raw water. The final condenser produces pure WFI. On shutdown, automatic drain valves on each effect - with vapor-blocking devices - purge residual water; on startup, preceding-effect pure steam in-line sterilizes the next effect WFI shell side.
