The equipment employs a state-of-the-art multi-cavity, multi-source 2450 MHz microwave architecture. Toshiba water-cooled magnetrons feed microwave energy through standard waveguides into the tunnel cavity from the top, using cross-polarised multi-slot distributed excitation(optimised by CAD) for maximum mode distribution and drying uniformity. Microwave energy causes water molecules in the material to vibrate at high frequency, generating heat from the inside out for rapid drying. Simultaneously, high-pressure centrifugal fans exhaust moisture via dedicated dehumidification pipes. Raytek infrared thermometers continuously monitor material temperature; the PLC automatically adjusts microwave power to maintain the set process temperature and prevent overheating.
