Tablet cores tumble in the rotating coating drum following continuous complex trajectories. PLC-controlled peristaltic(or self-developed) pump and 8 spray guns mist coating medium onto the tablet bed per recipe. 100,000-class filtered hot air(~80 °C) penetrates the bed and is drawn out the bottom by the explosion-proof exhaust fan(after dust removal), forming a smooth solid film on each core. Process parameters(drum negative pressure, hot-air volume, temperature, spray flow rate) are all quantified and PLC-controlled to minimise batch-to-batch variation.
