Empty capsules are gravity-fed into a hopper and then into a magazine where they are oriented (smaller end down). Vacuum separates each capsule into cap (top) and body (bottom). The body is dosed at a 6-station tamping/filling head with a patented powder homogenizer ensuring even distribution. The cap is checked for separation; if not separated or defective, a pin and vacuum eject it. Cap and body are joined and the finished capsule is discharged down a chute. An air blast cleans the station before the next cycle.
