Fonctionnement

Ultrasonic welding of thermoplastics: AC 220 V/50 Hz is converted to 15 kHz or 20 kHz high-frequency electrical power; the transducer converts it to mechanical vibration, which is amplified through a booster (cone) and transmitted through a horn under controlled pneumatic pressure (typically 2 kg/cm² working) to the workpiece. High-frequency friction at the joint surface generates rapid intermolecular heating until the plastic melts; the ultrasound then stops and the molten zone solidifies during the hold period to form the welded bond. Sequence: weld-button press → horn descent → delay timer (0–9.99 s, after limit switch trips) → weld timer (0–9.99 s, transducer fires) → hold timer (0–9.99 s for cooling/solidification) → horn ascent → counter +1.

Caractéristiques techniques

Caractéristiques de la variante : 20 kHz / 1300 W (horn ≤145 mm)

Caractéristiques

Modèle
SED-CHJJ-A
Tension
AC 220V, 50 Hz, monophasé
Fluides et énergie
Electrical: AC 220 V, 50/60 Hz, single phase, with proper grounding (separate from supply ground). Compressed air: dry filtered supply at 6–8 kg/cm², with the on-machine pressure regulator typically set to ~2 kg/cm² working pressure. Drain condensate from air filter regularly. Operating ambient temperature ≤40 °C.
Détails de conformité
Hardware grounding required for personal safety and to prevent high-voltage leakage. Workbench must support ≥150 kg, 600–800 mm height, dry and dust-free environment.
Pression d’air
Compressed air source 6-8 kg/cm2 (~0.6-0.8 MPa); operating working pressure typically 2 kg/cm2

Dimensions

Emprise au sol
Place welder on a flat workbench (≥150 kg load capacity, 600–800 mm height) with the generator (sonic box) nearby for operator observation. Avoid damp or dusty environments. Reserve clearance under the horn (no objects within 100 mm depth before lowering).

Caractéristiques principales

Ultrasonic frequency options 15 kHz or 20 kHz (20 kHz above human hearing)
Independent delay / weld / hold timers, each 0–9.99 s
2–6 step amplitude output (2–4 normal, 5–6 strong) with sonic-tuning trim and amplitude meter
Automatic / manual / sonic-check three-position selector switch
Motor lift/lower with infinite-speed adjustment (~5 mm per turn) and 4-screw horn level adjustment
Cycle counter with reset button
Pneumatic press with 6–8 kg/cm² supply, regulated typical working pressure ~2 kg/cm²
Emergency stop / emergency-up button
Air filter and condensate drain on inlet, low-noise rise/fall buffering, programmable lower-limit fine-adjust screw for precise stop position
Universal ultrasonic welder for a wide range of thermoplastics (ABS, PC, PE, PP, PS, PVC, acrylic, nylon, polyester, etc.)
Independent delay/weld/hold timing plus stepped amplitude lets the operator dial in optimal welding for each material
Sonic-check mode with amplitude meter and sonic-tuning trim ensures stable transducer-circuit resonance and maximum efficiency
Quick-change horns (with proper booster matching) cover everything from 1300 W small parts to 4600 W large parts
Built-in counter, emergency-up button and overload light for safe production

Applications

Welding of small to medium thermoplastic enclosures and components
Watertight or airtight welding of plastic parts (with proper energy director design)
Sealing of two-piece molded plastic assemblies
Joining ABS, PC, PE, PP, PS, PVC, acrylic, nylon, polyester and other compatible thermoplastics

Nettoyage et entretien

Keep horn, anvil and workpiece clean. Do not use liquid to clean the body — wipe down with dry cloth. Clean air filter periodically with detergent or water (no volatile solvents). Drain water trap when 1/2 full. Open control box once a month and blow out dust with dry/clean air gun. When idle long-term, wipe down, oil, and cover with included dust cover; store in dry, ventilated room.
