Fonctionnement

Drive motor turns the cycloidal reducer to rotate the Φ100 mm screw at 80 rpm, advancing material along the barrel under increasing pressure. Material is forced through a perforated SS304 die plate (6 mm thick) to form cylindrical strands. A cutter blade (200 W motor) chops the strands to a user-set length, producing pellets of 1.5–6 mm diameter. A water jacket around the barrel removes shear heat to keep the material cool during extrusion.
