SED-500TBJ-A is an antipyretic-patch (cooling-gel) coating laminator designed to apply slurry uniformly onto a roll-fed substrate using a metering doctor blade, coating roller and rubber back-up roller. Effective coating

Fonctionnement
Substrate (roll feed) is driven primarily by the rubber roller line speed; unwind/rewind tensions are servoed via tension-roller position. Coating layer thickness on the metering roller is controlled by the gap between the doctor roller and back roller; the coating roller transfers material to the substrate by reverse-rotation against the back roller, with the speed ratio between coating roller and back roller setting the wet-film thickness. Front/back movement of the rubber roller selects continuous vs intermittent coating. After single-side coating, the roll can be flipped and re-coated for double-sided coating. Cured by natural cooling, then optionally die-cut to 50×130 mm patches.
