Fonctionnement
Rotary tablet press with 17 punch stations on a 545 mm diameter turret. Granular material is fed via a force feeder into dies; upper and lower punches compress under up to 130 kN. Stepless variable-speed drive allows arbitrary speed adjustment. Sealed transmission system in the lower cabinet runs in an oil bath for lubrication and noise/wear reduction. A built-in dust collector removes airborne powder from the compression chamber. For bilayer tablets, output is halved.
