Fonctionnement
Cans travel along a 3 m long, 0.9 m high conveyor (114 mm chain plate). A 200-cap magazine drops a lid onto each can; the can then enters the rotary seaming station where 4 imported double-sided rollers (SKD31 Japanese mould steel) progressively curl and seam the lid onto the can body. Photoelectric and proximity sensors detect missing lids or faults and stop the machine. Format change-over swaps the chuck head, cap drop unit, turntable and fence; can-height changes use a hand-cranked screw jack adjustment.
