Granular feedstock fills the hopper above a turret carrying 17 sets of upper/lower punches and dies. As the turret rotates at up to 37 rpm driven by a 2.2 kW motor through an INVT CHE100 inverter and oil-immersed worm-gear drive, each die fills with material; an excess scraper levels the fill. Upper and lower punches travel through cam tracks past pre-compression and main compression rollers, applying up to 60 kN to compact the powder into a tablet up to 20 mm diameter and 6 mm thick. Tablets are ejected by the rising lower punch and pushed by the discharge scraper into the take-off chute. Pressure overload protection halts the press if force exceeds the limit. Vacuum cleaner interface is provided for in-process dust extraction. All controls and adjustments are on the same side.

Nettoyage et entretien

Pre-production cleaning: remove residual powder and inspect dies before each batch. Post-shift cleaning: open fully-opening transparent plexiglass doors to access turret, dies and feeder; wipe down all contact surfaces. Use built-in vacuum cleaner interface for dust extraction during and after pressing. Oil-immersed sealed worm-gear drive keeps lubricant away from powder contact zones.
