Fonctionnement
17 sets of upper and lower punches mounted on a QT500-7 ductile iron turret rotate through fill, compression and ejection stations at up to 37 rpm. A chrome-plated tin bronze (ZQSn6-6-3) feeder dispenses granules into the die cavity; the lower punch sets fill depth; pre-compression and main compression rollers (hardened GCr15 bearing-steel, HRC60-62) form the tablet against hardened cam tracks (HRC58-62); the lower punch ejects and a scraper diverts the tablet to discharge.
