Material is elevated to the multihead combination scale (14 buckets, 2.5L each), which calculates the optimal bucket combination to discharge per +-1 g target weight. The packer indexes premade bags through stations: horizontal bag infeed -> laser coding provision -> zip-bag opening device -> mechanical bag spreading (cam-curve timing; SICK switches detect single-side spread failure; earlier open detection vs pneumatic -> more fill time) -> top/bottom open detection -> 2x tray vibration (settling) -> fill (no fill if bag not opened) -> vacuum exhaust -> 2x heat seal (with cold-shaping after vacuum sealing: clearer pattern, flatter, cleaner) -> discharge to weight checker. Empty-bag circulation: failed/unopened bags re-circulate for retry, collected at the bag-infeed station (safer than dropping at transfer arm), preventing 100% empty packs. Siemens PLC orchestrates auto-lubrication (flow detection: alarm + stop on oil loss), phase-sequence/missing-phase/missing-neutral/surge protection, and recipe parameter save/recall for fast changeover (~5 min). Box-type indexer/divider: cam in oil bath, input up to 100 rpm, output 615 N.m torque. Cam material 20CrMnTi, hardened HRC55-60, groove precision +-0.009 to +0.020 mm. THK cam follower needle bearings (low friction, high precision, high rigidity).
