Fonctionnement
The reducer drives the barrel to rotate; the two unequal-length cylinders create asymmetry. When the machine runs, material moves from decomposition to combination — potential-energy differences produce a lateral force promoting horizontal material exchange. From combination to decomposition, plane differences again produce a lateral force. Each barrel revolution transfers about 25% of material from one cylinder to the other; radial flow also occurs, so material is repeatedly and alternately split-and-combined horizontally and radially, achieving uniform mixing.

Nettoyage et entretien
Clean the machine after work, especially the barrels, to prevent residual material. Reducer should be filled with sufficient lubricating oil (typically #30 machine oil); belt drive requires grease lubricant. Maintenance every 6 months — change reducer oil and replace any aged components. After 1 year of use, perform a major overhaul: check part clearances and adjust as appropriate.
