SED-150PG-T high-speed centrifugal spray dryer evaporates 100-150 kg H2O/h, converting solutions, emulsions, suspensions, and pastes into uniform powders or granules in seconds. Inlet air 180-230 degC, outlet 80-85 degC.

Funcionamiento

Ambient air is HEPA-filtered and heated by a 400000 kcal gas hot-blast stove (or electric heater) to 180-230 degC. A blower (4-72, 5.5 kW) sends hot air through the volute and distributor on top of the dryer. A 0.55 kW screw feed pump delivers the slurry to a 3 kW high-speed centrifugal atomizer at the tower top, which throws the liquid into micron droplets. Hot air contacts droplets in seconds, evaporating 95-98% of the water. Powder discharges from the bottom and from two cyclone separators; an induced-draft fan (15 kW) pulls exhaust through a water-film dust collector. A pneumatic hammer (ZC60/ZC40) knocks wall-stuck powder loose. Outlet temperature is closed-loop controlled by varying feed pump frequency.
