SED-0.6WZL-B — Zero-Gravity Mixer

Twin-shaft counter-rotating paddle mixing in a horizontal trough with a saddle-shaped (W-section) cross-section. Two parallel shafts spin in opposite directions at 43 rpm — above the critical speed at which paddle-tip linear velocity equals gravitational acceleration holding material to the trough wall. At that speed material is launched to the parabolic apex (zero-gravity point) and becomes effectively weightless, enabling rapid, uniform intermingling of components with widely differing particle sizes and bulk densities. The overlapping paddle geometry simultaneously generates gentle shear, breaking loosely agglomerated lumps without attrition. The batch is complete in 1–3 min for typical dry blends.
