SED-50QLF-S — Target/Disc Jet Mill Platform

Compressed, dried, filtered air is accelerated through multiple Laval nozzles into the grinding chamber as supersonic jets; material from the screw + vacuum feeder is co-entrained through Venturi nozzles. Because the Laval nozzles are mounted at an acute angle to the chamber, the supersonic jets drive the material in a circulating motion. Particles collide with each other and with a high-purity, high-hardness target wall (corundum / 316L) — the only contact surfaces — and fracture without media. A central air-stream draws fines to the cyclone, while coarse particles spiral back to the chamber for re-grinding. Final dust collection is by pulse-cleaned cartridge filter with Japanese PTFE-coated anti-static media. The whole circuit runs sealed and below room temperature (10–20 °C).
