SED-3PG-Q — SED-PG Series

Air passes through a filter and heater, then enters a swirl-type hot-air distributor at the top of the drying chamber, where hot air flows spirally and uniformly downward. Feed liquid is pumped through a filter to the centrifugal atomizer at the top of the chamber and broken into extremely fine droplets. The enormous surface area of the droplets allows rapid moisture evaporation on contact with the hot airstream; the product dries to powder in seconds. Dried particles collect at the tower base and in a cyclone separator; moist exhaust air is discharged outside by the induced-draft fan.
