SED-32SX — Capsule/Tablet Counting and Bottling Line

Bulk bottles enter the unscrambler, are righted and queued, then pass through a 40-head rotary air-jet washer where each bottle is gripped by a clamp, inverted, and blown clean (1-3 air pulses customisable). Cleaned bottles are conveyed to the 32-channel counter: tablets or capsules vibrate along a corrugated feeder plate into 32 channels; photoelectric sensors count product falling through each channel, and the counted batch is discharged into the waiting bottle. The desiccant inserter cuts and inserts a desiccant strip from a roll via a stepping-motor feed and colour-mark sensor. The capper applies and crimps iron caps via 8 rotary heads; a foil sealer hermetically seals; and the labeller applies pre-printed labels. A tail-end checkweigher catches under- or over-filled bottles before a take-off turntable collects finished product.
