Funktionsweise

Ratio dual-beam Czerny-Turner monochromator (160 mm focal length) with 1200 line/mm blazed holographic grating disperses light from a flange-positioned imported deuterium lamp (UV) and OSRAM tungsten lamp (visible) — source switch at 340 nm. The monochromatic beam is split into sample and reference paths, simultaneously detected by imported photodetectors; the instrument computes the intensity ratio eliminating source-drift errors. Auto 8-cell cuvette changer enables sequential multi-sample measurement. UVwin8 software (USB) provides enhanced data handling, mass storage, and secondary development capability. Power-off memory retains test data, spectra, regression equations, and calibration corrections for rapid re-initialization.
