The sampling pump draws air at 28.3 L/min into the light-scattering sensor; a laser diode illuminates passing particles to produce scattered light, and a photodetector classifies particles into six size channels by pulse amplitude. The controller calculates results at 95% UCL confidence and auto-classifies cleanliness per ISO14644/FED209E. Data is stored internally and can be uploaded via WiFi/Bluetooth/USB drive or printed on the built-in thermal printer.
