Thermal transfer print engine(Zebra) prints labels per host PC data; printed label is held by a vacuum suction plate; product-detection photoelectric eye(SICK) triggers the apply cycle, and a pneumatic cylinder pushes the suction plate to wipe the label onto the product. Buffer device on the apply plate cushions the cylinder impact. Pneumatic motor with adjustable torque handles label-backing rewind, maintaining tension and avoiding the overload risk of an electric motor. Siemens PLC manages the entire control sequence.
