Two gelatin ribbons formed on a flat-surface conveying system are fed between two counter-rotatingΦ150×250 mm rotary dies. Single-piston wedge-fed metering pumps inject 0–2 ml of fill into each die pocket; the dies seal and cut capsules in a single rotation. Capsules are conveyed by air to multi-section tumble dryers(SED-580ZL-I) for shape-setting, then tray-dried.
