SED-15LR-X — Cooling & Heating Temperature Control System

Liquid refrigerant in the evaporator absorbs heat from the circulating heat-transfer oil in a plate heat exchanger, evaporating from liquid to gas. The compressor draws in this vapor, compresses it to high temperature and pressure, and passes it through an oil separator to remove entrained refrigerating oil. The high-pressure gas then enters the condenser, where it rejects heat to ambient air or cooling water and condenses to high-pressure room-temperature liquid. This liquid passes through a drying filter and an expansion valve, dropping in pressure and temperature to become low-pressure liquid. The low-pressure liquid enters the evaporator to complete the cycle. The cooled(or heated) heat-transfer oil is circulated by pump through the customer's reactor jacket to drive material temperature to setpoint. Compared with dual- or triple-compressor cascade systems, the single-compressor design ensures reliable refrigeration at high temperature with simpler components and lower failure rates, while also benefiting the compressor lubrication oil system and extending service life.
