Liquid feed is pumped via a diaphragm pump through a pressure nozzle, creating fine droplets sprayed counter-flow against hot air supplied by a gas-fired furnace. Moisture is rapidly evaporated in the drying tower(Φ3,200 × 6,000 mm effective cylinder, 55° cone angle). Dry product is discharged from the tower bottom and from sequential cyclone and bag-filter stages.
