SED-0.075LS-C — Sterilizer - Vertical Autoclave

Electric heating elements directly heat water inside the vessel; product baskets are submerged in water; the lid is closed and the touch screen is used to set temperature(e.g. 121°C) and time. On start, the unit automatically heats to the sterilization temperature. Throughout the cycle an air compressor supplies counter-pressure to the vessel to protect flexible packaging from deformation. On completion the unit automatically drains, refills with cooling water, maintains counter-pressure, and cools to approximately 60–65°C before sounding an alarm. The operator then manually drains and opens the lid to retrieve product.
