Como funciona
Tablet samples (typically 6.5 g) are weighed and placed inside one of the two rotating drums. The drum rotates at the set speed (default 25 RPM, range 20–50 RPM) for the set number of revolutions (default 100, range 1–1000), tumbling and abrading the tablets against drum baffles. After the run the tablets are de-dusted and re-weighed; the percent weight loss equals friability per ChP method.
