It is equipped with immersion-type electric heating elements to generate saturated steam, with automatic cold-air purging, timed sterilization cycle, automatic pressure release, and end-of-cycle alarm. The unit features a safety door interlock that prevents opening when internal pressure exceeds 0.027 MPa.
