SED-4000SZH-B Double Cone Mixer for uniform blending of two or more dry powders/granules in pharmaceutical, chemical, and food industries. Unique cone geometry with no dead corners yields high mixing uniformity (CV ≤5%).
Como funciona
The double-cone cylinder rotates about a horizontal axis: materials undergo repeated axial convection under gravity and tumbling, and are redistributed radially by the geometric changes at the two end cones, achieving uniform blending. An optional forced agitator (shaft passing through the cylinder) breaks agglomerates and enhances mixing of fine powders, wet materials, and trace-additive blends. The butterfly valve outlet is opened when it points downward to discharge.

Pre-production: wipe outer surface with clean damp cloth; wipe interior with damp cloth; wipe hopper with clean cloth then 75% industrial alcohol. Post-shift: wipe inner and outer surfaces with clean damp cloth; wipe hopper with clean cloth then 75% industrial alcohol. After each use: remove rotating drum and clean residual powder, refit for next use. Long-term storage: wipe machine clean, coat bright parts with anti-rust oil, cover with cloth.
