Fonctionnement

Sample (up to 50 g) is placed on the aluminum tray of the HBM load cell. The ring halogen lamp uniformly heats the sample through a multilayer stainless steel heating tank to a programmed temperature (40–199°C). The instrument continuously measures and displays the real-time moisture loss (%) during drying. When drying is complete (auto-stop mode: 0.1–9.9% within 1 min, or timed mode up to 99 min), the final moisture content value is locked on the display. The method delivers results consistent with the international oven drying method in a fraction of the time.

Nettoyage et entretien

Disconnect power before cleaning; allow instrument to cool completely. Carefully remove the aluminum sample tray, triangular tray bracket, tray holder, wind shield, and stainless steel base plate. Wipe accessories with a lint-free cloth lightly dampened with water or mild neutral detergent (soapy water). Avoid corrosive cleaners. Re-level the instrument (rear horizontal bubble) every time it is moved. Recalibrate (weight + time) before first use, after errors, or after changing location.
