Fonctionnement
Tablet samples are placed in the dual Φ286 mm cylinders. The intelligent controller drives the cylinders at the preset speed (20–100 rpm) for the preset number of revolutions (5–900 turns). Each revolution causes tablets to slide from a 156 mm height, simulating mechanical impact. The LCD displays current speed and remaining revolutions in real time; the tester stops automatically when the target is reached. The operator then weighs the tablets to calculate friability as percent weight loss.
