Blended glue is poured into the paste barrel; with all sections running, the bottom valve releases glue to the paste head. Operator pushes the carton blank so that one folded flap passes beneath the gluing head and is uniformly coated. The opposite flap then passes through the press wheels and the middle-section pressing rollers, bonding the two flaps together. Optical-eye counters at the discharge roller set finished cartons in stacks of preset count (8 / 10 / 15) for downstream packing.

Nettoyage et entretien

After every job, close the glue-barrel valve and let the hose run dry; remove the paste head and clean it with clean water. For continuous runs, stop every 4 hours and clean the paste head. After cleaning, dry the paste head and apply a small amount of machine oil to the paste-head holder, gear contact and plastic surface. Grease the chain monthly. Keep photoelectric eyes clean to avoid mis-counts (very dark printed areas on cartons can also confuse the photoelectric eye).
