Mechanical single-punch tablet press: a single die receives powder from the hopper at a filling depth adjustable up to 20 mm. The upper punch presses material at up to 80 kN to form a tablet up to 7 mm thick. Filling depth and tablet thickness are independently adjustable. Crank-driven cycle at approximately 47 strokes/minute (~2800 pieces/hour).
