Utilizes relative movement between moving and fixed toothed disks. Material is crushed by impact, friction and inter-particle collision. Wind-wheel type high-speed rotating knife rotates at 3800 r/min generating powerful airflow that drives heat and finished product out through the screen. Crushed materials enter collection bag via centrifugal force. Crushing fineness determined by mesh selection (20-120 mesh).
