Rotary tableting: granules are gravity-fed and force-fed into 83 sets of dies on a rotating turret. Upper and lower punches follow cam tracks and pass beneath pre- and main-compression rollers, simultaneously pressing material from both ends to vent trapped air and compact it into uniform tablets.
