Fonctionnement

The can is positioned and clamped in the sealing station — the can body does not rotate. After the sealing chamber is sealed, vacuum is applied and nitrogen is flushed in. Four sealing hobs arranged symmetrically then orbit around the top of the stationary can: the first pair completes the crimping operation, and the second pair completes the pressing operation, resulting in a double-seam closure. The automatic lid-dispensing system detects the can and releases a lid; no can detected means no lid dispensed.
