Fonctionnement

Material is drawn into the grinding chamber by the suction of the high-speed fan-bladed rotor. Inside the chamber, material is struck by the dimensional and square teeth of the rotor (8+10) and rebounds against the chamber liner; repeated impact and shear reduces particle size. Ground powder passes through the perforated 86×17 cm screen and is conveyed out by the rotor's fan blades.
