Fonctionnement

Material in the symmetric stainless V-drum sits at different elevations and gravitates under different potential energies as the drum rotates forward and reverse on its horizontal axis. Each rotation generates simultaneous horizontal and vertical mixing flows, splitting and recombining the powder bed at the apex. After 8–15 min the time relay stops the drum, slows the last few revolutions, and parks the discharge port at ~80° so the operator places a collection bin and opens the butterfly valve. Optional internal agitator bar adds intensified shear for fine, agglomerated or slightly wet powders.

Nettoyage et entretien

Smooth stainless interior and quick-cap butterfly valve. Check feed cover and discharge valve seals periodically — replace if aged or broken (powder leakage symptom). Replace reducer and bearing grease after first 1000 hours of running, then on schedule.
