Fonctionnement

Powder is pneumatically conveyed (closed line, no dust) into the 316L mixing-granulation bowl. A 45 kW two-speed mixer paddle (80/120 rpm) homogenises the powder; binder is sprayed in via a SUS304 spray gun fed by a peristaltic pump and the paddle works it into a soft mass. An 11 kW two-speed chopper (1500/3000 rpm) cuts the mass into granules. The wet granules then enter the integrated fluidised-bed drying zone in the same vessel, where airflow dries them; fines that lift off are recaptured into the granulation zone for re-granulation. Discharge is via a 316L pneumatic discharge device; AirTAC cylinders open the cover. Process is supervised by a Siemens 5.7" touchscreen PLC.
