Fonctionnement

Tablets are loaded into the rotating coating pan tilted at 15-45 degrees. Continuous orbital rotation causes the tablet bed to tumble; the operator manually adds coating syrup. As the syrup spreads over the tablets, a built-in blower introduces hot air (internal 1000 W heater + external 500 W) into the pan to evaporate the solvent and dry the coating layer. The cycle repeats until target film thickness is achieved.
