Fonctionnement

Horizontal double-helix ribbon mixing: a horizontal stirring shaft mounted in the U-trough carries inner and outer spiral ribbons. The inner ribbon pushes material near the shaft axially in one direction; the outer ribbon pushes material near the wall in the opposite direction. The resulting opposing axial flows plus radial mixing fold and shear the bulk repeatedly, achieving uniform blends in short cycle times. Sealed shaft glands at both ends preserve material cleanliness; cycloidal gear reducer drives the shaft via coupling.
